Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has discussed “evolving regional situation” in a telephonic conversation with Minister of State of Qatar Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, the Foreign Office (FO) says.

In a statement, the FO said, “Both sides underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomatic engagement in addressing regional challenges”.

It added that Qatari Minister of State appreciated Pakistan’s “constructive role” and ongoing diplomatic efforts.

FM Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing the shared objectives of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond, the FO said.
