Iran says in talks with Oman, others over new mechanism for Strait of Hormuz

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has said Tehran is in talks with Oman and all relevant parties to develop a new mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters and Iran’s Tasnim News Agency report.

“Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz are entirely lawful,” Baqaei was quoted as saying by Tasnim News Agency.
