US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Oman, threatening to bomb it if it “gets in the way”, regarding control of the Strait of Hormuz.
“If Oman gets in the way, we’ll bomb the s*** out of them,” Trump has told Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst over the phone.
Yingst adds that the US president told Fox News that Iran should “raise the white flag of surrender” and that Washington is “in no hurry” to make a deal as a backchannel with Tehran remains open.
