Qatar has condemned attacks on the office of Iraqi Kurdistan’s regional prime minister and the residence of the head of Erbil Governorate’s Security and Intelligence Agency, calling them “a flagrant violation of the sovereignty” of both Iraq and the Kurdistan region.
Doha’s foreign ministry has stressed that the region must remain free of “the consequences of unjustified attacks” and emphasises dialogue, diplomacy and de-escalation, “in a manner that contributes to entrenching security and stability at the regional and international levels”.
