Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has held a phone call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, with the two leaders exchanging views on recent regional developments, according to the Foreign Office (FO).

The FO posted on X that Dar and Fidan also discussed efforts to promote regional peace and stability.

Moreover, Fidan invited Dar to attend the upcoming Regional 4 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of Pakistan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, to be held in Istanbul later this month, the FO said.

Dar accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation in the meeting, it added.
