Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says that negotiation “is not surrender”, according to comments carried by Iran’s ISNA state news agency.
“In the process of negotiations, we are moving forward step by step at the height of our power and with wisdom, dignity and expediency; our goal is to end the war, lift the siege, release the blocked resources and then have nuclear talks,” he is quoted as saying.
“We defend territorial integrity, but war is not our goal.”
