Oil prices have slipped by more than $1 a barrel as investors take profits after recent gains, and await details of expected new US sanctions on Iran, which could further disrupt supplies from the Middle East, Reuters reports.

Brent crude futures are down $1.16, or 1.23 per cent, to $93.23 as of 1131 GMT (4:31pm PKT), while US West Texas Intermediate crude is at $85.51 a barrel, down $1.55, or 1.78pc.
