The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian army, Major General Amir Hatami, says the country is ready to fight for “the [next] 10 generations or 20 generations” to stop foreign actors and other enemies from “reshaping their homeland”, state broadcaster Press TV reports.

Hatami adds that using force is the only way to “make the enemy understand that it cannot do whatever it wants”.
