Iran’s Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi says that the country’s enemies thought they could undermine national unity through ethnic divisions, but failed in their calculations, emphasising the country’s civilizational background, state news agency IRNA reports.

“Iran possesses a deep and rooted civilizational foundation, and this historical and cultural background is a valuable asset for preserving the country’s cohesion and authority,” the minister adds.
