Oil prices have fallen as investors monitor talks between Iran and Oman on the Strait of Hormuz, and a smaller-than-expected rise in US crude stocks curbs losses, Reuters reports.
Brent crude futures are down 71 cents, or 0.8 per cent, to $87.87 a barrel as of 1450 GMT (7:50pm PKT). West Texas Intermediate crude futures are down 48 cents, or 0.58pc, at $81.88.
