Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Israel’s “war-obsessed” government of using provocations to destabilise the Middle East, while calling for stronger cooperation across the Islamic world, Al Jazeera reports.

“Zionism threatens the peace of its neighbours,” Erdogan said in a speech, accusing Israel of targeting those who defend human values.

He also criticised what he described as the international community’s inadequate response to Israel’s “genocide network’s lawless policies, which disregard rules, principles, values, and boundaries.”
