Democratic US Senator Elizabeth Warren has called Trump “the most corrupt president ever in American history”, underlining that oil majors aligned with him have benefitted from the war on Iran, Al Jazeera reports.
“So the question becomes: What do we do about that? When Donald Trump starts a war with Iran and his oil buddies, who gave him a million dollars for his campaign. When they start making profits like crazy, then our job is to call it out and fight back. That’s what we do,” she said in an election rally for a junior senator from Massachusetts.
“You want to lower the price of gasoline? End the war in Iran. Just end it,” Warren said.
