Shahram Irani, the commander of the Iranian Navy, says the enemy has “seriously miscalculated” the resolve of the Iranian people and the armed forces, Iran’s Press TV reports.
“If the enemy believes that the martyrdom of some Iranian citizens and Navy personnel will bring the force to a halt, it is gravely mistaken,” he said.
“The Navy will draw strength from the blood of its martyrs and continue on its path with even greater resolve and determination.”
