Taking a jibe at the US administration’s decision not to hold TOEFL and GRE examinations in Iran, the country’s national broadcaster, IRIB, has questioned “the relationship between nuclear energy and the TOEFL”.

“In the new package of US sanctions against Iran, imposed under the pretext of nuclear energy issues, TOEFL and GRE exams are no longer held in Iran,” it said in a post on X.

“Does anyone know the relationship between nuclear energy and the TOEFL?”
