Senior Iranian commander says relations between IRGC, Iranian govt 'stronger than ever': state media
Iranian Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Naghdi has told Lebanese outlet Al-Mayadeen that relations between the government and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are “stronger than ever”, state broadcaster Press TV reports.
“If the Americans want to make a rational decision that serves their interests, they should not launch another war against us,” he is quoted as saying by the broadcaster. “Trump orchestrates wars to profit from the stock market or allows his associates to profit from the oil sector.”
Naghdi tells Al Mayadeen, “The enemy believed that it would seize Iran within 3 days, but what happened? Now 6 months have passed!”
