In a statement, the General Staff of the Iranian military has emphasised that aggression against Iran will not be tolerated on any grounds, news agency ISNA reports.

Addressing US leaders, the statement read, “You have tested the strong will of our armed forces and our brave and resilient people many times. Do not experience it again.”

It adds that despite official statements by some countries in the region that they will never allow the US to stage attacks against Iran from their soil, “The terrorist American army is still exploiting the land, sky, and airspace of those countries against our country and some of Iran’s military sites and carrying out attacks.

“As it has shown in the field so far, the Islamic Republic of Iran, while respecting the national sovereignty of its neighbours, will never tolerate any aggression and will give a much heavier response, as we proved last night by the brave warriors of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Islamic Republic Army,” it adds.
