Kuwait has also condemned the attacks by Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia, terming them a “flagrant violation of the kingdom’s sovereignty”.
The Kuwaiti foreign ministry said the act was “a direct threat to the security and safety of [Saudi Arabia’s] citizens and residents on its territory, a breach of international law and international humanitarian law, and a dangerous and unjustified escalation that undermines regional security and stability”.
The ministry affirmed Kuwait’s support for all measures Riyadh “takes to preserve its sovereignty, maintain its security, stability, and interests, and protect its people and residents on its territory”.
