After heavy strikes on the kingdom, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister says diplomacy is still possible with the Houthis to end the fighting, according to Al Jazeera.

“The Houthis have their own problems and they want to export these problems to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the legitimate government in Yemen,” says Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.

“The provocation by the Houthis will end up in failure. These practices by the Houthis and this selfishness by the Houthis will lead to results that will not be bearable.”

However, he adds, “The road to diplomacy is not closed. Saudi Arabia will always support diplomatic solutions, but the kingdom will never hesitate to defend itself.”
