Oman’s Foreign Ministry has condemned attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels on civilian and economic sites in Saudi Arabia, Al Jazeera reports.
In a statement, it reiterates Muscat’s rejection of targeting civilians, public infrastructure and commercial vessels, and denounces actions that “threaten the security and safety of maritime navigation”, calling for “concerted efforts to contain the tensions and prepare the conditions for calm and understanding” in the Middle East.
