Oil prices have fallen but remain on course for a weekly gain of more than nine per cent, as attacks along Middle East shipping routes stoke concerns about prolonged supply disruptions.
Brent crude futures are down $2.46, or 2.29pc, at $105.17 a barrel as of 1633 GMT (9:33pm PKT).
US West Texas Intermediate crude has fallen $2.44, or 2.38pc, to $100.04 a barrel.
