In an interview with India Today, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Iran never started the war, but merely defended itself against US and Israeli aggression, Press TV reports.
Pezeshkian also said that Tehran had “no problem” with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“We have no problem with any of the countries in the region. Our problem is with the US bases in regional countries, which are being used to launch aggression against our country.”
