Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned in the strongest terms continued Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) says.

Hosting Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmad Al Hajjar, the premier “conveyed deep sympathy over the loss of precious lives and property caused by the attacks”.

“He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Lebanese leadership and people during these difficult times, and reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the PMO adds.
