Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says reciprocal attacks in the Gulf are impacting efforts to end the US-Iran war and has called on them to immediately stop, adding Ankara also values the stability of its neighbour Iran, Reuters reports.

Speaking at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart in Baku, Fidan adds that freedom of passage should be allowed in the Strait of Hormuz and the pre-war status quo shoud be re-instated, adding that Ankara is in touch with all involved parties to find a solution to the matter.
