Qatar has strongly condemned Houthi attacks on civilian areas in the Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif, which injured several civilians and caused material damage to homes and vehicles, a statement from the foreign ministry says.
The ministry terms the attacks “disgraceful acts of aggression and an unacceptable disregard for civilian lives”, adding that they are a blatant violation of Saudi sovereignty and international law.
“The ministry emphasises the State of Qatar’s categorical rejection of attacks targeting civilian objects and civilians, stressing the need for an immediate end to such irresponsible acts,” the statement adds.
