Omani FM discusses de-escalation efforts in Middle East with US' Rubio

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi has received a call from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, with the pair discussing efforts to de-escalate tensions in the Middle East, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).

The state news agency says “the latest regional developments and the successive transformations unfolding in the region” were among the topics of discussion, with Albusaidi and Rubio exchanging views on “efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions and containing their repercussions, and creating conditions for continuing diplomatic endeavors and addressing outstanding issues in a manner that supports the region’s security and stability”.
