Rear Admiral Ali Ozmaei, commander of the IRGC Navy, has said that the Strait of Hormuz has been cleared of US forces during the 200-day war and is under the control of Iranian forces, Tehran Times reported.

In a message, he praised the Iranian people on the occasion of the “200th consecutive night of the people’s stand and presence”.

He said the strength and perseverance of Iran’s naval forces were a result of the resilience and steadfast presence of the Iranian people.

Ozmaei urged the public to combine their continued presence with unity, vigilance and support for the military forces and government officials.
