Brigadier General Bahman Kargar, head of the Central Headquarters for Commemorating National Occasions of Sacred Defence and Resistance, said that Iran would not hold its annual armed forces parade this year due to the “war conditions,” IRNA reports.
Speaking at a meeting with media personnel ahead of the 46th anniversary of Sacred Defence Week, Kargar said this year’s observance would be held under the slogan “Labaik or Khamenei”, according to IRNA’s defence correspondent.
He said the Foundation for the Preservation of Sacred Defence and Resistance Monuments had a 10-year strategic document that began in 1994 and ended in 1404.
