Former Iranian minister Mehrdad Bazrpash says Europe’s daily jet fuel shortage has reached 510,000 barrels and its reserves have plummeted to a seven-year low, despite surging imports, Al Jazeera reports.
“The cost of Trump’s folly is now spilling over from aircraft fuel tanks into the pockets of European passengers. The Hormuz vortex has dragged Europe’s energy security all the way to East Asia,” the former minister of roads and urban development says on X.
