Swiss Foreign Minister Ignacio Cassis has said he discussed the geopolitical balance in the Middle East with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi.
“Switzerland is deeply concerned about escalating tensions and their impact on peace and security. The region’s stability is also our stability,” he writes on X. “Our priority is clear: prevent further escalation, keep diplomatic channels open and work towards a negotiated solution.”
