US and Iranian delegations have engaged in “lengthy talks” on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly via mediators, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff says in a post on X.
The two delegations “successfully completed a round of discussions that we hope will prove constructive and promising”, Witkoff writes.
“The mediators will continue their work.”
