Dar, Araghchi exchange views on regional developments on sidelines of UNGA: FO

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has met his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, the Foreign Office (FO) said.

The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

DPM Dar “underscored the importance of dialogue, diplomacy and sustained engagement in promoting regional peace and stability,” the FO said.

“Both sides agreed to remain in close contact.”
