Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu claims in his UNGA address that destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities was “very hard”, but “one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever had to make as prime minister”.
“Because if I hadn’t done it, we’d all be dead,” he claimed.
He also claimed that the “ultimate irony” was that “in defending itself, Israel is also defending many of the countries whose delegates just left this hall”, many of whose leaders even thanked Israel privately for destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons.
“It’s hard to imagine more mind-blowing hypocrisy,” he added.
