Five bodies found in Khuzdar, Surab

KHUZDAR: Police on Saturday found at least five “bullet-riddled bodies” in Khuzdar and Surab districts, which were shifted to hospitals for medico-legal formalities and at least three were handed over to heirs after identification.

Three bodies were recovered in Ferozabad, Khuzdar, after locals informed the authorities about their presence in the area, prompting the police to rush to the area. The bodies were shifted to the district hospital in Khuzdar. The deceased were identified as Zafarullah, Shafi Muhammad Jamalzai, and Nadir Khan Mangi. Police confirmed that the bullet wounds were visible on all of the bodies, which were handed over to the heirs for burial.

In Surab, two bodies were found in the Mal Shahorai area. Police said the bodies were dumped at an abandoned place, adding that their identity could not be ascertained. The bodies were then moved to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.Meanwhile, the Civil Lines police in Quetta recovered the body of an unidentified elderly man from a taxi stand. The body was shifted to a hospital and later kept in the mortuary for identification following the necessary procedures.
