A tough day

This is with reference to the story “A tough day” by Syeda Hafsah Bokhari (YW, February 18). It was a hilarious story and written very well. I felt sorry for the girl stuck in between her brothers in the story.

But the story made me cry at the end as I realised that siblings are so special and an important part for our lives. Apart from that, reading stories or articles increases our vocabulary and we always come to know about many new words.

Young World

This is with reference to the letter “Young World” by Sana Mushtaq in this section (YW, March 4). I agree with the writer on the various points she made regarding the things published in this magazine. However, I would suggest that “Magic in a minute” should be replaced by more reading material.

Apart from that, more space for stories should be allocated rather than advertisements, It makes us sad to see an advertisements taking up a complete page, which otherwise could have provided us with an interesting article and story.

II

It’s been more than a year now that I started reading YW every week. I have read many other children magazines, but they can’t match Young World in terms of quality as YW publishes everything that kids may want in a children magazine, such as stories, poems, quiz, news and a lot more. It is always informative and interesting.

Reading the magazine improved my writing skills, which is why I wait eagerly for every next edition. I am thankful to the YW team for publishing such a fabulous magazine for kids.

Right to quality education

Quality education is not affordable for everyone in our country. There is lack of government support, good teachers, proper infrastructure, quality books, etc. In private schools, there is no focus on quality education as they are more concerned about attaining fame and wealth.

Through strict checking, the government can play a big part in improving educational facilities for everyone. If the government fixes the fee structure and provides up to date books to students, the nation will progress ultimately.

I hope the concerned authorities will take notice and do something to provide our future generation with best education.
