How to overcome self-doubts

This is with reference to the article “How to overcome self-doubt” by Nabeel Hassan (YW, September18). All of us doubt ourselves — our creativity, skills, abilities and potentials — at one time or the other.

Self-doubt is the worst enemy of human beings as it gives rise to fear and one gradually loses all the confidence one has. I think readers should take this article as a reminder to have faith and confidence in oneself and never have self-doubt.

Never give up

This is with reference to the story “Never give up” by Arsh Faisal (YW, September 11).

The story gave us the lesson to keep trying and never give up on anything. If we remain persistent in our goals or aims, we are likely to achieve them one day. The idea is to stay motivated throughout your life and keep working hard.

The story “Never give up” by Arsh Faisal was inspirational. In life, it is normal to achieve success and failure. We celebrate success but if we face failure, we become unmotivated and depressed.

However, at such times, we should take failure as a lesson and learn from it so as not to repeat them again.

Life is all about learning new things, facing failures and success at the same time. Sometimes when one loses something, he/she gives up.

Arsh Faisal has beautifully elaborated this in his story “Never give up”. The story was interesting and left a great message for the young generation to stay motivated despite hardships in life.

Teachers are superheroes

This is with reference to the cover article “Teachers are superheroes” by Ambreen Arshad (YW, October 2). It was a wonderful article.

I agree with the writer that teachers have sacrificed and suffered a lot during the pandemic. Online teaching and studying have been tough for students and teachers alike. And it became tougher for teachers to make students understand lessons through online classes, because younger students become more distracted by the home setting than the older ones.

I am obliged to the teachers who have done this tough job greatly and didn’t let any student suffer.
