KHUZDAR: Six members of a family, including women and children, were killed and two others injured in an accident on the Quetta-Karachi highway in Surab district in the early hours of Sunday.
Levies force officials said that tribal elder Mir Mohammad Anwar Rodini along with his family members was going from Quetta to Karachi in his car when the vehicle collided with a long-body trailer coming from the opposite direction.
Soon after receiving information about the incident, Levies personnel rushed to the area and shifted the bodies and the injured to the district hospital.
The injured were later shifted to the Trauma Centre of the Quetta’s Civil Hospital.
The bodies were later handed over to the family.
