LAHORE: Eight prominent Pakistan cricketers, both male and female, are among the 30 participants who are taking part in the Level 2 coaching course, which commenced here at the National Cricket Academy on Tuesday.

The Test cricketers attending the six-day course include Azhar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti, Naved Latif, Shadab Khan, Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah.

Pakistan international Asad Ali and former Pakistan women’s captain Bismah Maroof are also participating in the course.

The course will be conducted by former Test off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq and ex-international cricketer Dr Imran Abbas alongside NCA coaches Abdul Majeed, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohtashim Rashid, Rahat Abbas Asadi and Saboor Ahmed.

At the conclusion of the course, the participants will be given three months to complete their assignments. The successful participants will be awarded certificates.
