A supplementary charge sheet was submitted to a Karachi court on Tuesday in the case against alleged drug baroness Anmol alias Pinky.

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) submitted a supplementary challan revealing 21 cases against the alleged drug ‘queenpin’, who was arrested in May in connection with the possession of narcotics and an unlicensed weapon.

According to the supplementary charge sheet filed by IO Muhammad Mansoor, three suspects were arrested from Akhtar Colony in 2018, including Anmol’s brother Nasir. A large quantity of hashish and cocaine was recovered from the accused, the challan stated.

However, during interrogation, Maiser Ali said that he was told by another suspect, Aamir, that he worked for “Madam Pinky”. Aamir had spoken to Anmol over the phone, the challan added.

The accused disclosed that, on Anmol’s instructions, they used to supply drugs “all over Karachi”. A gram of the illicit substances cost between Rs12,000 and Rs15,000, a rate that was set by Pinky, the challan stated.

The investigating officer said that, based on this information, Anmol was interrogated in the women’s jail where she is currently being held. According to the challan, she confessed to being the ringleader of the drug network, after which she was also arrested in the case.

The challan added that Nasir told police that Anmol was his real sister, while the rest of the family had left for Lahore out of anger.

The names of 14 witnesses, including the investigating officer, are included in the challan.

Anmol was arrested in May in connection with two cases registered at the Garden police station pertaining to the possession of drugs and an unlicensed weapon. She had already been booked in multiple other criminal cases prior to her arrest.

The incident gained attention when a video of her being escorted to court without handcuffs went viral on social media.

Since her arrest, Anmol has been presented in court amid heavy police presence. During her court appearances, she has also alleged that she has been facing pressure from the police “to take names” of politicians and other influential persons.
