ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (Fospah) has settled more than 1, 100 cases in 2025, with more men reaching out for justice in Punjab and Peshawar.

The gender-wise breakdown of figures shared by Fospah showed that last year, 1,290 cases of harassment were filed across the country and 1, 104 complaints were resolved.

Fospah head office in Islamabad received a total of 727 complaints of harassment at the workplace, 496 filed by women and 231 by men.

Fospah’s office in Punjab received the second highest number of complaints of harassment at the workplace, 376, of which women filed 154 and 222 were registered by men.

In its Karachi office, Fospah registered 90 complaints; 66 were filed by women and 24 by men. In Peshawar, 77 individuals approached Fospah to file complaints, including 35 women and 42 men.

Likewise, in Quetta, 20 complaints were registered with Fospah, with 18 women and two men seeking justice.
