JEMIMA Goldsmith, the ex-wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, married 62-year-old Irish-Australian financier Cameron O’Reilly on Sunday, UK outlet The Daily Mail reported.

The wedding was confirmed by her brother, Ben Goldsmith, whose wife posted a photo from the event on Instagram, writing: “Celebrating Jemima and Cameron’s wedding, with my favourite date, what a happy day!”

The couple met while O’Reilly was working as an executive producer on documentaries and films, according to The Daily Mail.

The Irish-Australian is the son of Sir Anthony O’Reilly, the late media magnate and international rugby star.

A friend of Jemima and Cameron previously told The Daily Mail that the couple were friends ‘for a while’ before their relationship became romantic.

In May, the paper reported that the two were engaged following a yearlong relationship. Goldsmith has produced several films herself, including What’s Love Got To Do With It, which she called her “love letter to Pakistan”.

O’Reilly has four children from previous relationships, while Jemima shares two sons, Kasim and Sulaiman, with Mr Khan, whom she married in 1995 for nearly a decade.

Jemima, an award-winning documentary maker, has meanwhile been campaigning for the release of Mr Khan, from whom she divorced in 2005.

The ex-cricketer turned politician was jailed in 2023 for corruption and remains behind bars after receiving further sentences in December last year in cases that he insists are politically motivated.
