MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (AJK-PSC) said on Tuesday that it would extend the deadline for applications under a recent advertisement to compensate for the downtime caused by the launch of its upgraded digital system.

In a press release, the commission said that its existing website, www.ajkpsc.gov.pk, would remain temporarily inaccessible during the configuration and installation of the new infrastructure being developed in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).

The revised closing date and schedule for the ongoing recruitment process would be announced through the commission’s new website, it said. The upgraded system will include a candidate portal through which applicants will be able to create a unified profile, submit applications online, upload required documents, make digital payments and track their applications, admit cards and results.
