PESHAWAR: The district administration and relevant departments sealed 16 illegally established stone crushing plants in the Takhta Baig area of Jamrud tehsil during a joint operation here the other day.
Officials from the office of the assistant director industries, Jamrud assistant commissioner and additional assistant commissioner participated in the operation.
Administration officials said the action was taken to enforce legal requirements against illegally established stone crushing plants in the area.
The owners of the sealed plants were directed to shift their installations to designated and suitable locations without delay.
They said action against illegal installations would continue.
