Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi claims that Israel is “getting less shy about its grip” on US policy regarding Iran.

In a post on X, he writes that the Israel Hayom news outlet, published by Israeli-American lobbyist Miriam Adelson, says US policy “must ensure America pays a price for any slight against Israel”.

“High time for Washington to break free from these shackles,” Araghchi writes.

A highlighted section from the Israeli outlet is attached to the post, which reads that Israel and the US “should deepen their military, technological, intelligence and economic integration to such an extent that inflicting harm on Israel would also carry a significant cost for Washington”.
