Flag carrier Iran Air has announced it will continue operating flights from Tehran, Mashhad and Isfahan to Najaf in Iraq, Al Jazeera reports citing the airline’s public relations department.

The carrier adds that flights will operate according to the scheduled timetable, despite the threat of US sanctions and a warning from United States Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent that Iranian airlines could effectively be shut out of international travel from Wednesday.
