Iranian state broadcaster Press TV reports that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during his visit to Tehran.

Pezeshkian has said that Pakistan and Iran could “meet many of their needs by tapping their domestic and regional capabilities”, according to Press TV.

The broadcaster adds that, according to Pezeshkian, continued engagement between Islamabad and Tehran could further strengthen bilateral cooperation across all areas, and that US pressure on the region has contributed to greater convergence and interaction among Muslim countries.

“Pakistan is determined to further expand bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, tourism, politics, culture, and science,” Naqvi is quoted as saying.
