Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has had a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, according to Doha’s foreign ministry.
“During the meeting, the latest developments in the regional situation were reviewed, along with the efforts being made to de-escalate and create appropriate conditions for dialogue, in a way that contributes to enhancing regional security and stability,” the ministry says in a statement.
