Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met US Ambassador Natalie Baker to discuss bilateral relations, investment opportunities and regional security, according to the interior ministry.
In a post on X, the ministry said the meeting also focused on efforts for peace and stability in the context of the latest situation in the region, as well as Pakistan’s peace efforts.
“Both sides agreed to strengthen mutual contacts to promote bilateral cooperation,” the statement said.
Baker appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
“Pakistan is a strong wall between the world and terrorism,” Naqvi was quoted as saying.
