The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Major General Mohsen Rezaei asserts that the country “will not go back to the previous diplomatic approach” with the United States, or to the conditions under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, according to the IRNA state news agency.
“Our positions have remained unchanged, and the new diplomatic path we have adopted will keep advancing with full strength,” he is quoted as saying, adding that Tehran will make the US “earn the trust” of the Iranian people.
