Iraq’s Najaf International Airport has suspended all flights to and from Iran starting today, Reuters reports, citing the state news agency.
Two sources told Reuters earlier that Iraq was discussing diverting Iranian flights from Baghdad to Najaf after ordering its civil aviation authority to suspend Iranian flights to Baghdad airport from Wednesday, following a US threat to sanction any airport that services Iranian carriers.
