LAHORE: A Chinese provincial hockey team from Guangdong will tour Pakistan next month to play matches against Pakistan’s U-21 and U-18 teams and departmental sides.
The tourists during their Oct 12-30 visit will play matches in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Wah Cantt, Narowal, Lahore and Gojra.
The Guangdong team will play their first match of the tour against MPCL in Rawalpindi on Oct 14 followed by the second match between the same teams in Islamabad on Oct 15.
On Oct 17 and 20, Guangdong’s team face PDC at the Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium while Pakistan Police will test the Chinese tourists on Oct 18 at Wah Cantt, Rawalpindi.
In Lahore, the tourists will play their first match against Pakistan Customs on Oct 23 at the DHA Stadium. The Chinese team face Pakistan Rangers at the Narowal Sports Complex the next day.
In the last phase of their tour, the Chinese squad will meet Pakistan U-21 at the National Hockey Stadium in Gojra on Oct 26 while Pakistan U-18 will play against the tourists at the DHA, Lahore the following day.
